Ball

Drawing upon his dual professional background as a pastor and an attorney, David T. Ball has focused on issues at the intersection of law and religion since 1991. After earning his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, Mr. Ball began his legal career in San Francisco, handling litigation, insurance coverage, employment and other matters for the mediumsized firm of Farella, Braun & Martel. In 1995 Dave returned to Ohio, where he served as a pastor and then college chaplain at Denison University before shifting back to the legal field. He joined the Columbus firm of Schottenstein, Zox and Dunn in 2006, where he launched the Religious and NonProfit Organizations practice group. Since the summer of 2010 he has practiced for Rosenberg & Ball, offering a wide range of legal services to churches, nonprofits, individuals, and small and mediumsized businesses.

Dave was recognized as the Outstanding Young Nonprofit Attorney for 2010 by the American Bar Association, and he is a former Co-Chairman the ABA Religious Organizations Subcommittee. Dave is also a certified arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, where he primarily resolves labor and employment disputes. Dave will golf with anyone, anytime, schedule permitting.
