Laura J. Young, Paralegal, worked primarily as a litigation paralegal defending clients in toxic tort, products liability, and employment matters in California before moving home to Ohio. After receiving her Master of Divinity at Methodist Theological School in Ohio (Delaware), she became an ordained minister and served local churches. She also worked as a community organizer and fundraiser, and then directed a state-wide non-profit organization. Laura now enjoys handling various practice areas in her capacity as paralegal to partner David T. Ball. Laura received her B.A. from The University of Michigan in 1989, and then attended Golden Gate University School of Law for a year. When not guest preaching or testifying at the Statehouse on behalf of various justice issues, she enjoys books, playing the piano, and spending time with her grown children and family.
