Rich Kozlowski

Rich is a business lawyer with over 20 years’ experience assisting clients in Ohio and around the world with their legal dilemmas.

Rich has represented clients on all matters of corporate law, with an emphasis on the legal aspects of buying, selling, and operating a business. Rich has drafted and negotiated every manner of business agreement, both simple and complex, including stock purchase, asset purchase, employment, joint venture, license, real estate, consulting, confidentiality and non-competition, shareholder, and LLC operating agreements.

Rich currently serves as General Counsel of one of the largest and most prestigious gastroenterological medical practices in the U.S., and has represented numerous medical professionals and medical practices in a multitude of health care matters. He has helped negotiate the purchase and sale of several dental, optometric, neurological, obstetric/gynecological, veterinary, and other medical practices.

Rich received his undergraduate degree at Providence College in Rhode Island, attended graduate school at the University of Hawaii, received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University, and ended up settling in Ohio. He worked for years and became a partner at the Columbus office of a national U.S. law firm before leaving to establish his own practice. He is also owner of several local businesses, which gives him a unique and practical insight into his clients’ problems and projects.

Rich lived, studied, and traveled in China for many years (he speaks fluent Mandarin) and has explored much of Asia with little more than a backpack. He lives in Granville with his wife and seven children, where he spends his time keeping bees, making maple syrup, hunting deer and mushrooms, and hopes to one day hear The Voice reassure him: “Well done, good and faithful servant”.
